Isabelle Vogt grew up bilingual (German/French) in Riehen near Basel and studied law at the University of Zurich. During her studies, she worked in the legal department of a private bank and in legal counselling at the Women's Centre. In her final year, Isabelle Vogt won a nationwide competition in crisis management and strategy for students and was named “Student of the Year”.

After graduating, she worked as a clerk and legal secretary at the District Court of Meilen, where she gained an insight into all proceedings of a court of first instance. She was admitted to the bar in 1993 and subsequently practiced in several international commercial law firms before establishing herself as an independent lawyer with Daliah Luks Dubno in 1999. In 2015/16 she completed her further training as a Certified Specialist SBA in Inheritance Law.

Isabelle Vogt is married and mother of two adult sons.
